Welcome to Scattered Dialogues, home to Lea Batara’s online portfolio & artistic–mainly written–omnibus.

Her ultimate goal is to use journalism to produce and share stores about international conflict and their impact on how countries function.

She is bilingual (English & French) and completed a bachelor’s degree in Honours Journalism at Carleton University with a minor in English Literature in Spring 2020. Her belief in the importance of global connectedness drives her forward, because it’s important for society’s progression forward. Her aptitude for radio and multi-media journalism diversifies and ameliorates her writing styles and critical thinking.

Currently, she is working on a personal project: “Lucky Samurai” YouTube channel, wherein which she fully produces video essays on shows she finds meaningful.

Lea has an eye for a story, and the hunger to match. She enjoys being challenged and is devoted to clear communication to get as close as possible to the truth.
